If you’re looking to go home satisfied, they won’t disappoint with their filling 8oz Angus burgers or their  all-you-can-eat fish and chips on Fridays.
“Having a fun and family oriented environment is very important,” explained Mr. Shank.
“It is our goal to always have fresh, top quality items that are made right.”
“We feel very fortunate to have found someone to operate the restaurant who is as committed and capable as Bart,” explained June (Sassy) Call. “He shares our passion for providing the best food and service possible. I believe he shares the objective of providing a fun, family, and community oriented gathering place that will add greatly to the community of Heber-Overgaard.”
“We look forward to building on the successful history of this location,” continued Mr. Shank, “with great food, at reasonable prices.”
The business will include employees who have become well recognized for their expertise, such as Joey Valdez who has a line of signature burgers that you will not want to miss. Mr. Shank explained that this will be a family run business.
“We will  be joined by my sister-in-law, nephew, and son.” He indicated that they will all be spending as much time as possible making the business a true success.
Now open, Black Canyon BBQ Café is located at 1828 East Highway 260, and will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 6am to 7pm, and on Sunday from 6am to 2pm. They will be serving breakfast until 2pm and feature a senior discount. Bart and his family will be providing the best service possible, and look forward to seeing you there.
