About

It is truly a strange and beautiful world we live in. With this first inaugural issue of Oddities Magazine we hope to open the door for a place to showcase the unusual, in all the wondrous corners of the world. From unusual talents and creations to unique business prospectives, it is the Magazine’s philosophy to give voice to the odd and highlight talents and stories that are otherwise not given their due light.
It is also important to know that we are very open to suggestions and contributions. Submissions can be sent to us via our website or email. We hope that you enjoy our labors, and will spread the word if you do.
Sincerely,
Jesse Horn
Executive Editor
Oddities Magazine

Jesse Horn – Executive editor and founder of Oddities Magazine. Mr. Horn worked for several years as a journalist and executive editor for the Mogollon Connection newspaper. Among his past unusual occupations he has worked for a secret company that produced a large amount of smoke, as well as for a large amount of smoke that did not know it had company. He is passionate about writing and illustrating for children, and when he is not attempting to hide the skeletons kept in his closet, he is busy running from them.

Miette Noir – Journalist/Researcher. Ms. Noir is well known not only for her ability to find and research unusual and interesting stories, but also for her inability to play well with others. Among her writing credits she has written for the tombstone of Widow Vanderbilt’s husband, an effective letter of resignation, and most recently a compelling grocery list.

Mortimer Black – Investigative Journalist. Although Mr. Black comes highly recommended as one of the leading investigative journalists for obscure and macabre content, his odd and sometimes frightening behavior often makes him unable to interact with others. This, combined with his obsession with cheating death, makes him a strange but amazing asset to Oddities.
